I've been using this for a while now. Can get temperamental. It measures calibration weights fairly accurately, but if you weigh things after a while it doesn't change the values even if you add more. Sometimes when I pick up the container and put it back that changes. Sometimes weight is subtracted instead of added as more is added. I have another scale that I take out when this happens but I need it to measure 0.01g.

I ordered this scale once, sent it back for an exchange thinking I just got a defective block. The replacement sent did exactly the same as the first one - it didn't charge the battery so it didn't stay on after I unplugged the charging cable. When the cable is connected, the battery charge indicator appears on the display, but disappears after a few minutes. I kept it plugged in for hours and the batteries didn't charge an iota! Expensive and waste of money.

This is a great scale, but I lost a lot of ingredients because the scale shuts off when I add ingredients to my product. Sometimes taring after just a few seconds. I read the instructions on how to set the auto-off to zero; and tried different power adapters, but it still turns off randomly. If it wasn't for this error, this would be the perfect scale; but I've had some very disappointing formulations with this scale so sadly I have to replace it.

This would be such a cute do-it-yourself e-liquid scale if it wasn't PERMANENT OFF. Even if auto-off is disabled (set to 0), when connected to the USB charger, the device keeps turning off at random intervals. It only stays on when running on batteries; regardless of how the time is set. Terrible firmware on a physically impressive product. Assembly is good, buttons are tactile, accuracy is excellent. My other scales were only grams. I found that within 5 grams the type of scale differs by 20%. No wonder my recipes didn't work. Since this scale has become accurate to 100 grams, things are going much better. I'm better at getting flour, water, etc. down to a tenth of a gram. The tare function is great. I love the features and design of this scale but I must have gotten a bad one. Mine turns on at random intervals ranging from a few seconds to almost a minute. I've tried tweaking the timeout feature (press and hold tare, adjust time in mode, and press power to read PASS) and none of the setting values make a difference. I have a 500g version, almost identical design and it has a problem with the T button and I went with this one. Advantages: - 1000g with 0.01g resolution - Rechargeable built-in battery.
