Memory is packaged in a plastic case in non-static packaging. Was delivered earlier than expected. Installation on my HP 6710B laptop was easy. Running this pup, the bios recognized the memory upgrade, I pressed F1 to accept, and the laptop booted up about 66% faster than before at just 2 gigabytes. No freezes, constant paging from disk, no problems at all. Breathed new life into a 10 year old laptop for less than half the price of others here. Very satisfied.

This worked great on an old Dell 1720 laptop. I had 2GB but I increased it so my son could use it as a laptop. The RAM has been identified and has improved the overall performance of the laptop. I also added an SSD which required some BIOS updates and a Windows hack but has been upgraded to Windows 10 and everything seems to be going according to plan. Breathed new life into an old Dell Inspiron. Originally had Windows Vista and 2GB of memory, basically the weight of paper, Youtube, Firefox etc needed updates and since Vista is no longer supported nothing could be updated! Well after adding 4GB of new Kuesuny PC2-5300 memory, HD removal, new LINUX LITE OS, it's working great now, Firefox, YouTube have the latest updates and I couldn't be happier, so for less than 18 US$ for memory of this computer will last at least 2 years.
