I bought 4 packs to try and was so impressed I bought a second pack of 4 and another for my brother in law. the recognition function works reliably. If I had an area that rarely needed light I would definitely buy more.

I agree with the rest of the negative reviews. I'm not sure how the heck they get good reviews. I've tried different batteries, different motions etc and they barely turn on even when the motion sensor was locked. And then they barely stayed long enough to do anything. Don't waste your time and money on this

I was quite happy at first until after about a month one of the four turn signals stopped working. Then a week later another Dima left. There are now two left but they are much darker than when new. I can't imagine the new Revain base batteries failing after such a short period of minimal intermittent use. Another thing is that they turn off too quickly before the task is complete. Too much money for such a cheap product that doesn't work. I would say go somewhere else.

I love these things so much I've bought more. In fact, when I get up in the middle of the night, I don't want to stumble down the hallway on my way to the bathroom. I installed one on my bed frame. Installation for security in the hallway, kitchen and bathroom. New house. The light will turn off without warning in less than 45 days. I get up at night to fetch water for my son, but the light isn't on. I can't see a toy truck and it's amazing how quickly you get to the 1st floor if you don't use the steps. Not sure why this has so many good reviews? I tested the motion detection in the closet in all possible positions. I tested it in low light, no light, bright light and most of the time it just wouldn't turn on. It didn't matter which direction the sensor was pointing, how far or close the movement was. Of course, it went on every now and then, but it's completely useless. It didn't matter how small or large the area the unit was installed in, I've tried it in a closet, in a garage, and in open…
