Description of ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ Kuretake ZIG Letter Pen Cocoiro Body Koizakura Pink with Extra Fine Refill Black Ink - Customizable and Refillable Cartridge, Odorless, Xylene Free, AP-Certified - Made in Japan

"Cocoiro" comes from a combination of Japanese words meaning "heart" (COCORO) and "color" (IRO). It is a letter pen that has a flexible, semi-hard tip that draws precise, sharp lines. Brush tip: This flexible brush tip is perfect for writing lines of different width. Alternating pressure and position of the pen, along with the speed creates a difference in strokes from about 0.2-1.0mm. This type of pen, though delicate, is suitable for daily writing use, as well as decorative, hand lettering, modern calligraphy, and illustration. Ink Cartridge: This pen is refillable, so you can continue to use the pen body, and refill when necessary. COCOIRO is designed to have the body, ink and tip customized to fit ones personal style or the โ€œcolor of your heartโ€. "History: Established in 1902, Kuretake has a long history of developing numerous techniques in the manufacturing of various fude (brush) pens and inks. COCOIRO is one of those high quality pens, with a smooth pen body, unique shape, and comfortable, conforming, it brings a feeling of fun and joyfulness to your stationery collection. "

Storage with color tip Medium

I like this marker. It's been two years. After writing a few cards and fearing I NEED to refill ink, I revised my order and checked the ink levels. Somehow it's still more than two-thirds full. Looking at the comments, the main criticism is the drying out of the pen. I had this problem too, the solution is counterintuitive: when you're not using it, always hold it up, even if you're just pausing.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Unreliable

Hard pen, not really better than others

This is a good hard felt pen, but I haven't seen it far superior to any other fine pen. It wasn't a brush pen as I expected and I'm not sure of the body's purpose other than being pretty to look at. Replacement parts are no smaller than a disposable pen, so waste is not reduced in any way. Edited: My rating went down because it was dry and scratchy the third time I used it.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Questionable buy for seniors

Written nicely. for a day.

I usually read reviews. God only knows why I didn't read the reviews about it before buying it. I fell in love with him from the first hit. I drew half of the drawing for her on the first day. I used it a few days later and it felt a little dry but figured I just had to heat it up again. I used it again after a few days and no matter how hard I tried or even after soaking the pen I couldn't get it to work. It has tons of ink. What a disappointment because if it didn't dry out so quickly, thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

No pen, disappointment.

Instructions for the Kuretake ZIG Letter Pen Cocoiro 1 Refill: 1. Remove the pen from the packaging.2. Make a vain attempt at seemingly playful writing with what was sold to you as a pen. 3. Try and try, watch as the pen shrinks and bleeds, then suddenly dries up. Put the pen back in its packaging, take it to the nearest landfill and burn the pen before throwing it away, because he and the ancestors of the creators of this pen are not worthy of sharing his final resting place. A cry of angerโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in black only

Perfect for transitioning from heavy to super thin writing!

I've definitely found my favorite everyday pen! I've been learning handwriting with both the large and small Tombow pens and a friend recommended the Zig Cocoiro for my address work and I love it! Mine gets used for a lot more than that and holds up surprisingly well. It is sensitive to prolonged use and has to be turned upside down for the next use, but otherwise it has become a faithful companion of mine. It writes best on Rhodia paper but holds up great on standard carbon paper/envelopesโ€ฆ
