Loved the trim but the top one broke into small pieces on arrival. The outer packaging was ok, but when you opened the outer packaging, you could immediately see that there were all sorts of small shards inside the jewelry box.

If you don't pay attention to the size, you will be disappointed. They are much smaller than the average ball which is around 3 inches. They are very well furnished and very beautiful. Also well packaged. I also bought another set, even smaller, for areas closer to the top of the tree.

These are lovely little pieces in their own right, but they fill in the gaps between large ornaments very, very well. I love glass jewelry (I don't have to worry about that as I don't have any natural enemies - pets or small children - who live with us right now) and the glitter is firm and won't fall off when you touch it. I just need to find another set of the same size but in blue.

As a little decoration, I must say they are so cute and beautiful. Yes it's small as many reviews say so thanks for the info but it's perfect for the small tree I plan to use it on. Actually, I'm going to buy a few more. I don't recommend you buy it for a large tree as it may not have the same effect as a small tree, but I can't wait to dress up my small tree with these beauties. I posted the picture because I decided to buy it after seeing the picture in a review.

So from what I read they are 1.57 inches tall. I knew I wasn't expecting these to be regular sized bulbs. At the same time, they appear smaller, but are advertised correctly. I photographed one of the onions next to standard size McDonald's fries so you can get a clearer idea of their size. I just wanted to put them in a silver bowl for decoration. In this case, size doesn't matter. I would recommend Kurt Adler to do them with a standard lamp size as well.

They were a little smaller than I expected but it was my fault for not using a ruler to take the measurements. They are ideal for smaller branches that heavier ornaments cannot hold. I have a four foot tall Christmas tree so I was looking for cute little decorations. It's absolutely darling - and the perfect size for my needs. I don't understand why people are complaining about the size and downgrading the stars/rating when it's clearly stated in the description.
