I don't understand all the bad reviews on this product. It's clearly fragile, most Christmas decorations etc are fragile. So don't drop it and handle it carefully. This star is beautiful. It's not difficult, it's actually very easy. And my lights haven't gone out yet. And it has held up well on my 7 foot tree. You just have to balance it. I am happy with my purchase and plan to use this star for years to come.

Beautiful star. Like others, I had to reinforce the top of my artificial tree to support the star and keep it upright, but honestly I think it's more of a problem with the tree than the top. Any serious topper will have the same problem in my opinion. And as someone else mentioned, the feather is useless and has always been on every topper I've ever bought. However, the star is the same as in the photo, looks beautiful and is the right size for my 7 1/2 foot tall artificial Christmas tree.

This is a beautiful Christmas tree topper. As others have said, this is a fragile item, but surprisingly. It consists of a thin shell and should be handled accordingly. I used it on an 8 foot tall thin artificial tree installed on our indoor balcony. The star's glow was warm and spectacular. The design is exactly what we wanted. I can't believe they had the audacity to sell this junk for almost $40! While it looks beautiful when it is, it's just poorly made and flimsy. The coil that is supposed to attach it to the tree is of terrible design and after spending nearly 30 minutes trying to get it to stay up I decided it just wasn't worth the trouble. It kept spinning and you didn't have to cast that thing to make it stay. I went out that same night and bought an absolutely beautiful GE topper that is sturdy, looks great…

My biggest problem is that this star is smaller than it should be. It was advertised on Revain as 9" x 9", but it's actually only 8" x 8". As others have pointed out, it has a very short spool to attach it to the top of a tree, and I had to use some zip ties and rubber bands to "kinda" hold it in place, as well as should the back of this star will not be visible. It starts off as a pretty treetop, but it's so small that it's impossible to see the details, towering over a 9-foot tree. I am not…
