🌟 Kurt Adler 10-Light Gold Bethlehem Star Treetop: Elegant and UL-Certified Review

This star turns out to have a transparent base, not brown as shown in the picture. This is a beautifully shiny star with a finish reminiscent of mercury glass (it's plastic). I love the warm golden light. It's not too light or too yellow like some of the other treetops I originally considered. It has a mixed metallic finish so it pairs well with gold silver jewelry. Overall, I'm happy with this tree topper!

The base of this treetop is terrible. It's not clear why it shouldn't be put on a green or even transparent basis. White stands out against the wood. I had to buy "evergreen" banister ties for the garland and wrap the bottom part in plastic so it wasn't visible on the Christmas tree. I will close and glue the top part and spray paint the white plastic base so hopefully next Christmas it will blend in better with the tree. Next to. This Star of Bethlehem topper is very good! It's just as good as the other one I bought two of. Like her, it has the problem of being difficult to mount at the top of your tree (a small holder doesn't help much and in all my Christmas years I haven't seen a topper that mounts well out of the box).
