Photos don't do it justice. This topper is stunningly beautiful in person. Please pay attention to the dimensions as it is quite large and is best suited for a large tree. (Shown on a 10ft fake tree for comparison) I'm not sure how this would work on a real tree because I had to put quite a few branches into its cone to hold it in place, but so far so good. LOVE IT!

I like this treetop. That is beautiful. Especially for the price. I have an artificial Christmas tree that is 7 feet tall. You need to expand and mess with the base to keep it on the tree. It will tip over unless you widen and stretch the base and pull enough branches through it. It took me and my husband 15 minutes to get it right (why I'm giving it 4 stars) but it's worth it. And next year everything should run smoother than we know it now.

Of course mine was damaged in transit but I was totally unprepared to discover it was just a thread dyed silver. Looks good, but if you thought you were actually going to buy something metallic or durable, you certainly aren't thrilled. I actually bought two. What it should look like is below, what it might look like when flattened is on top. The box wasn't damaged at all. Someone put it in a box like this.
