Just taken out of the box, two parts of the tip were bent, tearing the transparent material. I threw it away because it was too late to return it. The lights looked bad and didn't spread.

The star looks great when placed in a tree in a corner or in front of a wall due to the visible lights on the back. The material it's made of is fragile at best, so make sure you store it properly. Although it shines brightly.

I really liked this topper. I didn't want anything massive and flashy. It is tender and beautiful, but actually tenderness is a disadvantage. I wanted to look like something fragile like a snowflake, not something that would break on day one. The front and back are connected by three springs. One of the springs broke leaving the front hanging down and away from the back. I tied it for Christmas and sent it back the next day!

After reading other reviews I was a bit hesitant but I really like the look of this tree top and I feel very comfortable so I figured if it arrives unassembled right i can fix it. Well it came complete. Only one of the ends of the star was bent - it was easy to bend it in place. Another thing to note about this topper is that it is heavier.
