Good quality backrest

I bought a cheaper backrest and ended up replacing it with this one. I paid more for it but it's better quality and with a few tweaks you can get it right where you need it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in white

Good, but it could be better!

Fits well. however, it would be easy for Kuryakyn to make this flap forward and adjustable without removing the seat. Good product, much smaller than the Indian part but could be better.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Doubtful

Quality back, worth the money.

Excellent quality product. Tried the cheap route first and paid the price. This is a great alternative to the factory back. It takes a little time to set it up properly, but it's worth it. When installing an Indian Roadmaster, do not install rear spacers.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Operating speed

The fabric fell apart before I even used it

Not real leather which is good but the part of the fabric that makes it look like leather is peeling off more and more every day. It's comfortable to drive, but quickly becomes a thorn in your side. I would not recommend this product. Kuryakyn is usually pretty good quality, but this part is low quality.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • A little torn

Better than I understood

Tried and returned. I got a new seat from Ultimate - that didn't fix my range issue either. I found a cheap Chinese fake of this Kuryakin on eBay for $150. It looked the same, but it wasn't! Kuryakin is value for money compared to eBay's Chinese fake. The rear of the Indian brand is stiffer and higher quality, but also worth its price.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not satisfied with everything

Longevity? on Motorcycle & Powersports

The product was easy to install. Looks good and appears to be of good quality. The seam on the back has started to unravel. Bought and installed December 2017. See photo. The bike is in the garage at home and at work. However, I've gotten caught in the rain a few times. Like most of us, I'm sure. I would like it to be a bit more rigid. If I move too far, the back leans back. Just adjust the seat. In general, the back is good. Just shot, the seam has already started to tear. I understand thatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Reliability
