Try to pre-mount/screw in the bolts, screw in, tighten and mount the unit to the fender leaving the bolts in the plate bracket. After installation, use the screws from the appropriate hole AND DO NOT TRANSLATE THE TIME TO ASSEMBLE THE license plate and license plate frame with the bracket mounted on the fender.

I fitted this to my 2021 Low Rider S. The actual physical framework was perfect in every way. The four plate screws were perfect "wish they were black" but the three screws and bolts were crap. They didn't tighten at all, in fact I couldn't get them halfway through. I ended up using factory hardware for this part and thank goodness it worked. You should just omit the 3 and tell the customers to use factory gear and they will probably get 5 stars every time.

Looks great once installed on bike. There was an issue with the original bolts and nuts provided to attach the unit to the fender. There must have been a coating or something similar on the screws. They didn't quite tighten and I literally had to break them as they wouldn't come out. It wasn't fun. I replaced them with my screws and completed the installation.
