Gift to my grandmother The frame is of good quality and can be hung or placed upright on a flat surface. However, writing on the frame is very difficult (the button is tiny and can get stuck or pop out even when fully pressed). You have to worry about rebooting etc. Also, there's no backup for writing if the button is pressed or the batteries need replacing (I saved a copy from my phone just in case).

I gave it four stars instead of five because the plastic pane used instead of glass reduces the image quality. The glass is translucent but fragile.
