Good shocks

I installed these on my 2011 RX350 which I bought used with 107k miles. The car was in very good condition but had original shock absorbers and struts. I put it off until the weather turned cold before replacing them and one of them squeaked when going over rough roads. Revain quickly sent a replacement allowing me to swap them out and return the tweeter. I think shock absorbers are like wiper blades: they need to be changed in warm weather to break in. Rubber doesn't forgive cold. Overall…

Direct Replacement - Shocks, Struts & Suspension

Claimed to be a direct replacement and no complaints about the ride quality of our 2011 RX350. Installation is easy with the right tools. Installation took about 40 minutes. The tools I used are the following. Jack 2. Jack is standing. Head 17mm. Inch Extension (requires extension to clear body) Haynes repair manual states torque specs are 74 ft-lbs for the top bolt and 68 ft-lbs for the bottom bolt. at your own risk.

Shocking truth!

Every stock and OEM replacement Toyota/Lexus shock on my 2010 RX350 leaked between 20-30,000 miles. Too early for the easy freeway ride I'm doing. Eventually I started looking for something better and found it. Lastly, I installed a pair of KYB 349203 Excel-G shocks. Significant improvement in ride and handling, even with reduced road noise at road seams. They each cost a few dollars more than the Lexus dealer's OEM shocks, but as mentioned earlier, they were vastly superior in comfort. The…

Best Fit For Lexus RX 350 2011

Perfect fit for my Lexus RX 350 2011. Installation was easy. It took me less than 10 minutes to take it off and put it back on. Of course, this does not include the time for lifting the car and removing the wheel. By the way, you don't need to level the car if you're just replacing those C-pillars. Fastened with two screws, 17mm if I remember correctly. I used an impact adapter so removal was easy and straightforward. The old racks are from my car, I lightly press them with my hands. With new…

Doesn't work for me.

Decided to replace the shock absorbers on my 2014 Lexus RX350 at 60,000km. No obvious issues other than age and mileage. I was surprised to find a limited number of aftermarket options. I chose KYB because I have a solid reputation based on over 10 years of professional automotive experience in suspension, steering and braking. Installation was very easy. Shortly after, I noticed a rattling noise coming from the rear at low speed (10-15 mph). I have tried many times unsuccessfully to find the…
