Perfect dropbox best in my review

Using this to collect payments among a small group of people. It was easy to install and perfect for dropping off payment. Can hold a good amount of envelopes. Nice magnetic feature keeps the slot closed. Comes with two keys for management to use. We added a magnetic holder on the side to hold envelopes and a pen. Suited our needs perfectly.

Pros
  • Installed on the outside of my wire fence. Does a great job.
Cons
  • Had to return first order due to faulty box. Received new order bur missing handle.

Great for our church

Our church is trying to reduce the traffic in our church office. One of the ways we are doing this, is to use this locked mailbox.

Pros
  • I received it very fast and it was very sturdy.

  • The mailbox is not weatherproof and can easily become rusted or damaged in harsh conditions

Sturdy. Nearly new refurb ones were good

I purchased 4 of these at the almost new quality for a slight discount and all came with all parts and acceptable blemishes. I'm not sure how water proof it will be so I bought and installed extra weather proofing strips at the openings. Hopefully they hold up.

Secure It Well! - my new review

I liked the mailbox itself very much. Didn't have any problems with using it and it looks nice. However, last night someone came by and ripped it off the concrete wall and took off with it. I recommend you secure it with Toggle Bolts, not just anchor bolts, and use sturdy washers inside so it can't be slipped over the screw head.

If it just didn't soak the mail when it rains.

This mailbox is attractive and sturdy but when it rains my mail gets soaked. Sometimes I can't even read the mail and checks have been soaked. Will be looking for something better.

cheaply made good for me

This is very cheaply made. The slot for mail is not very big to accomidate mail order presciptions. The lock mechanism was loose and can not tighten it. the magnet to hold the slot closed moves and the slot doesn't close all the way. only positive thing with this it was easy to install.

Terrible - Mail is constantly wet, keys are not working any more after a couple of months

Even though our mailbox is mounted underneath a stoop and slightly protected , our mail is CONSTANTLY wet and the mailbox has rusty spots.On top of that, after 10 months of installation both keys stopped working and are of such poor quality that they deformed. Unfortunately this is a big waste of money!

Great product, but lost keys

I love the product. No need for a key to open the box. It''s a 3 number combo. Great product, looks very expensive.. Just wish I didnt lose the keys right away :(. do they sell keys for this item separately? lol.

Mailbox is NOT waterproof.

After only a few months the mailbox has started to rust both inside and out. I purchased this particular mailbox because it was advertised as being waterproof. Very disappointed to say the least!

NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE DUPLICATE KEYS

We purchased two of these for our rentals and are not able to find any locksmiths to make duplicate keys. You would think they would supply a standard blank mailbox key, but nah.

Need new keys for mailbox

I need a new key for the mailbox. There is no identifying number on lock. Can I get a way to contact the company that sells/makes the mailbox so I can contact them? I searched Google but can't find a way to contact them.

good lock box good for me

works great. it's easy to open with the two included locks, the opening to drop things into is good and secure, and it's quite heavy and feels good quality. since it is heavy, it's not easy to screw into a wall alone, but can be done without help.

Excellent but small.

I like this mailbox and kept it. I was able to easily mount it to wrought iron fence. I modified it to drain water better as it's at a slight angle to my fence. Only problem is that the opening is quire small which make theft impossible but also limits mail size. You may want to get the larger model.

Expected more! for my opinion

OK for the money. However the mail will get wet if it rains and it rusts on the bottom after a rain. Sturdy enough and it is secure.
