The product comes in a sealed packaging. I opened the pouch and poured the powder into a sealed plastic container. I weighed 1 gram (1000 mg) on a milligram scale and it equaled 3/8 teaspoon. The powder smells funny but thankfully has no flavor when mixed with water or juice. It dissolves with gentle stirring. This is good value for money compared to other pure L-Carnitine suppliers.

I have been taking another brand of L-carnitine for many years to treat cardiovascular issues. Several factors - bad smell, clumping, expiration date too close to purchase date - prompted me to look for an alternative brand. I feel like I've found a winner with the product in question.
