Volume and Quantity: 15ml (Dia.16x150mm) , 40pcs. Material: Made of borosilicate glass, Heat resistant and autoclavable. Appearance: Flat bottom, with marking area and black screw caps, cap is in bakelite material mounted with silicon rubber liner. Tubes and caps are assembled. Heating: Withstand 121°C high temperature autoclave sterilization. Application: Designed for both tissue culture and general bacteriological work.

Good vials, bad packaging, shattered glass.

These test tubes are great, the right size for what I need, and reasonably sturdy in general. The problem is that they are not packed well. I have ordered them twice, and both times I have had broken tubes, small shattered glass spread throughout the box they come in. They come in layers of ten, with only thin foam padding in between each layer, not each individual vial, so when thrown around in shipping they tend to shatter.

Expect damage on my review.

Overall the vials that arrived unbroken will serve well but I had a loss of 6% due to shipping damage and would not be surprised if the packaging allowed a loss of up to 15-20%
