Terrible Quality: Not Worth the Money

This carrying case was a huge disappointment .While it claims to be shockproof and waterproof, it did not protect my hard drive at all. After a small drop, my hard drive was damaged beyond repair. The only positive was the compact size, but even that didn't make up for its lack of protective ability. Overall i do not recommend this product to anyone looking for reliable protection for their computers. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I know there are better options out there..

Sturdy and reliable hard drive protection

When i tried this hard drive accessory, I was pleasantly surprised by its rugged DESIGN .It stood up to the test of protecting my hard drive during a rocky commute. The waterproof feature is also a big plus giving me peace of mind in case of a sudden downpour. The only downside is that it`s a bit bulky, but that's a small price to pay for the protection it offers. Overall, a great investment for those who rely on their computers for work and play..

Protective; some useless details; adapts to add-ons

Bought two, blue and red, for my two thicker Seagate Backup Plus 4TB USB 3.0 external hard drives. The cable is tight and the hard drive is protected by the padded plate. A longer cable will also work if it can be rolled very flat (see note below). The zip easily closes around the short cable and adapter when the device is laid flat on the hard drive. One element that doesn't impress me is the entirely superfluous black carabiner loop, which ensures the bag sticks out instead of lying flat…
