I made a layered banana bread dessert with white icing between the layers. Not as big as a cake which is only great for two people.

The pan description says the pans are 1.75" deep, but they are 0.75" deep or less. These layers would be as thin as a plate!

This morning I made this easy caramel glazed banana cake. I didn't use a baking sheet or parchment. I just rubbed them with Crisco and dusted them with flour. They bake well and pop out of the mold easily. I think this product is a keeper!

I really like these pans. They are durable, well constructed and easy to use and clean. They don't burn so I didn't oil or flour them, I just cut the parchment to fit the bottom and they were ready to go. I used them to make a birthday cake (Italian cream) recently and it turned out great! For even layers, I recommend adding no more than 1 cup of batter to each pan and baking them no longer than 18 minutes.
