🔩 Lancher 60-Pack Black Cage Nuts and Screws for Server Rack Mounts - M6 x 16mm - 1U, 2U, 6U, 12U Cabinets and Shelves Review

I installed thousands of screws to secure the server. and yesterday I installed more than 60 of them and didn't remove a single one. On a few occasions I had to move the unit up/down the shelf multiple times and the bolt heads wouldn't loosen, the nuts wouldn't loosen etc. Great product, added to my must have work truck list.

Came in a small box, well packed but loose but won't spill everywhere if you're polite with the box. The finish is nice, the screws are mechanically strong when screwed in, and they fit well in standard square server rack posts, but they're not too heavy to fit in a square. Will buy again if needed seems better than others on the finish side is better than I have used after a while. They appear to have a better, harder finish, a more polished flat side, and a bit of gray for them, but still…

They are gunmetal grey, not even close to the black screws pictured or the product description which clearly states 'black'. I got them to match the other screws in my rack and now I have to order another set from someone who is accurate in their product descriptions. Mechanically, they are no different from other rack screws. Same quality as the screws that came with my Tripp Lite stand (good).

Not much talk about cage nuts and bolts (which is usually a good thing). That being said, these screws are only slightly longer than some of the screws that came with the rack hardware I recently purchased, which is great if you're using rails or mounting flanges that add extra metal in front of the rack rails - posts sure you can go through everything and still be able to go through the cage nut.

A little greasy in the packaging. And only ONE was immediately unusable. Much easier than using the cheap hollow nuts and bolts that you get with everything else. They're all a little greasy from the factory, and there were exactly the same amount of bolts, washers, and cage nuts. The damaged one was "too loose" and had to be opened with pliers. 5/5 highly recommended.

They rusted before my return window closed, about 20 days. Thus, the durability is measured immediately. About 12-18 hours after staying on the covered porch while sawing wood for my shelves. It didn't rain and I didn't get the parts wet just because of the salty air. I kind of expected less than perfect bolt tolerances and overlooked them as I saw less than perfect reviews before pulling the trigger. I really like these. First, they are a good size so they can be dressed up and taken down however you like. The washing machine is a nice addition and gives your shelving a great unified look. The nuts are also easy to attach to your luggage rack. I've had ones that require a screwdriver and lots of pressure to push them in. They just snap in and you're done.

These are M6 x 16mm bolts and cage nuts. They're easy to assemble unless you have a cat that shouldn't be in the server room playing with the screw pack. Yes, they work as intended. Be honest, what kind of review can you write for this product? The tightened bolts were securely fastened to the captive nuts. However, before using it, I had to insert cage nuts as shown in the picture.

So yeah, they're not black... but they are the nicest quality zinc plated screws I've ever seen! They came in a small box with a healthy coating of machine oil, so don't worry about rusting on your rack. The heads are nice and broad, like others who try too hard. The inner edge of the car with square holes and the plastic washers are nice and thick. The cell nodes are also of excellent quality. Nice and sturdy and they don't fall out like some of my old ones when I move gear.
