Based on my experience, this compact appliance is a great styling tool for beauty enthusiasts. It is convenient and easy to use with adjustable temperature settings that leaves hair looking fabulous. However, the machine tends to get HOT rather quickly, so caution must be taken when using it. Overall, a great addition to my styling collection.

Great except for the plastic holders. But if you don't keep hot tools on all day, you'll be fine. I only bought it for storage

The first time I used it my curling iron which is a Marcel Chi curling iron melted right through the plastic hole at the bottom, during use I didn't let it it on but so far I've curled my hair up and down a few times so no it's not heat resistant and for me it stays set at 350'.
