Cute and also useful

They were great for processing all the sea green beads, but the parents were not satisfied with the beads. Apparently they had been used at a previous party and the aqua pearls were hidden in the kids' bags and gift bags and the parents didn't know too much about it. The next morning all the beads were crushed in the cots and soiled the washing machine and dryer. Be warned. Make sure parents know in time if you give children water beads, so they can rest assured to check their small bags andโ€ฆ

later. and it's great! I like to use them to build inner arm muscles for cutting and writing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they seem to be quite "inexpensive" so I'm not sure what their longevity will be. They're the perfect size for preschoolers, but big enough for me to use when I want to! I use them often in my sessions! UPDATE: 3 years later I'm still using this original set. At first I said I was concerned about their durability but they proved to be veryโ€ฆ

Great for sensory hoop play

I first saw these shovels when taking my 2 and 4 year old girls to our local library program. They were placed in a sensory basket full of rice. All the children enjoyed the activity, it was the most popular in the room. Knowing almost everything is on Amazon I looked for it and found it when we got home that day. For Easter, I prepared a sensory basket full of these orbiz-like water balloons for the little ones in attendance. Orbiz was a hit, as were the handy shovels that the kids playedโ€ฆ
