I hate to complain but these coasters look good but they hold up to anything! To drink, to the table. The only good thing I can say is that they look beautiful. To be honest I was very excited when I bought them, I thought they were actually marble, to all my drunk friends they aren't. I don't know what kind of coating, maybe leather?

Appears to be more decorative than anything else. Liked: Cute design, marble pattern is smooth and fashionable. warm (not even hot, just warm) - spill a few drops of coffee on one and the stain seems permanent - if you leave something on it for too long (more than an hour) it leaves deep impressions on the stand that last a bit Time to go It's just sticky foam at best.

I thought I had a lot of marble coasters (I have a marble table) but was disappointed when I noticed on arrival that they weren't marble. You can look at them, but not the skin. They feel sticky and smell like harsh chemicals. They also seem to stick to the bottom of drinks, but I use them. I think it's best to let people know in advance so they won't be disappointed later.

Condensation will collect on them. If it's too much, it may spill. However, he will NOT absorb, and if he absorbs, then not enough to change anything. I like the look of these coasters but I don't like that they stick to the bottom of the cup/glass if the cup/glass is sweating at all. It can be frustrating picking up your glass and leaving the coaster on the floor long enough for it to fall and crash into something else or hit the floor. Maybe this is how leather coasters work? But if I had known this was going to happen I probably would have chosen other coasters. Again, they look very nice and exactly like the photos.
