I bought this as a treat for myself as I am just now starting to journal. I love it so much. It definitely feels handmade and special. The pages are unlined and thick enough that my pens do not bleed through (permanent markers would). I found the leather strap that secures it a bit cumbersome for every day use so took it out and made my own. I will say that the original strap was a nice touch to the overall aesthetics of the book.

Beautiful piece. This had white paper without lines. Perfect for notes or sketches. I have purchased others that have "old" paper but it is really dark in color making it tough to write on unless all you use is ink. This one is perfect.

I just got this journal for watercolor and did my first painting in it today. My only complaint is that the paints didn't blend as well as they do on regular watercolor paper. But inspite of that I absolutely love this journal and I'm going to gift one to a friend that also does watercolors. This was a gift for my sister-in-law who just finished a book about my husband’s brother, Steve, and their journey through early-onset Alzheimer’s.
