Doesn't stick well to old vinyl

Good quality leather and the color goes well with my 2000 Sand Beige 4Runner... but it's not like going on vinyl "stay". Seating anywhere there is traffic getting in and out of the vehicle.

Pros
  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Doesn't stick well to old vinyl

Good quality leather and paint goes well with my sand beige 2000 4Runner... but it doesn't "stick" to vinyl seats where there is traffic getting in and out out of the car.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons

The perfect solution!

I had a stain on my car seat that got worse when I tried stain removers. I decided the patch was worth trying. Gray matched almost perfectly. I was able to use the patch on part of the seat. That looks great. I am very happy with the results!

Pros
  • Fabric Glue
Cons
  • High Price

Poor packaging, thick patch

The patch arrived folded in half and sealed in a flexible envelope. I was very disappointed as there is now a crease in the center of the patch and the corners are folded. The patch itself is very thick. While I think it will be good for longevity, it will make the patch more obvious. The color matches the seat I want to refurbish. If I could find this color in another patch I would probably go back.

Pros
  • craft supplies
Cons
  • thin

Best Kept Secrets

Too bad I didn't take any before and after pictures of what I used it for. I have an airplane and the back seat was old and quite torn and the foam under the skin was dissolving, but a professional rebuild would cost around $1500. A few turns and the problem is solved! The colors are not quite what they seem. My seats were light gray, that's what I bought. It has become more beige. So I sent it back and ordered a medium grey. Perfect match! So buy a few colors next to what you need and see…
