🔑 Leatherman Carabiner Cap Lifter Keychain Review

Analogs are sold on Ali, but they are much less durable. Basically, I use it to cling a bag of groceries to my backpack and free my hands.

leatherman carabiner is great. I bought two but my dad only took one because he liked it so much. This makes it very easy for him to get a bunch of keys out of his work pants pocket. Withstands abuse and attaches all sorts of things to himself or his gear. A bottle opener works too!

It's pretty good as a carabiner. The spring is a bit stiff, but that also means it never accidentally snags on things. It's not easy to open with one hand. The bottle opener is very powerful and will knock out most bottle caps. In a pinch, it doubles as a crowbar. The carabiner itself was not damaged or bent when I used it to pry the cap off multiple sternums. Haven't tried to keep a beat with it yet - there's my keychain now.

I bought one of these after trying a few other carabiner keychains. I bought several Nite-Ize options, but none of them interested me. So I bought a Leatherman rifle. It's smaller than I expected but has a stronger snap than Nite-Ize carabiners. It holds my keys well and fits in a nice flat pocket or belt loop. Having one gate instead of two (like the Nite-Ize) makes it a more secure way of carrying keys.

This item arrived on time but differs slightly from the picture. I like the new design BETTER! Basically, both ends of the clamp are flattened. This clip is one of the easiest clips to attach to my belt loop that I have ever used. Since the end (the end shown in the picture above) is now flattened, I can hang my headphone case, keys, and a small leather knife together without "chipping off". As for what I use every day, I am VERY happy.

I have been using a carabiner for many years and have gotten so used to clipping my keys to my belt loop that I found it difficult to put the keys in mine when my last one Carabiner broke bag. I have been using this carabiner for my keys for about 8 months now and it is exactly what I wanted and expected! It is very easy to attach to my belt loops.
