Cheap velcro that won't stay in place

For the price you would expect better quality. Everything is good except velcro which is the most important thing to keep the belt in place. It's very short, of poor quality, and keeps coming off. This one comes back

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Neutral

Wear it all day! for kidney belts

I love this belt! I wear it almost every trip now. In 2008 I fractured my T12 vertebra, so my lower back hurts most of the day. This orthosis offers sufficient protection and support and is also very comfortable. Also very well done. Love it! My waist is 33/34 and I chose S/M and it's perfect.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Thick rubber / 3DO protection for the back

I would like the rubber protection to be expanded on the sides of the waist ("Love Handles") left and right; but a thick whole plate over the lower back and posterior femur. I wish the velcro straps were thicker, they feel flimsy, but the straps are strong and sturdy. 3DF is a good thing: soft rubber batter that hockey players use, high-tech crap.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Can hurt

Top Quality Product

Although a bit expensive, it is no different from kidney belts of comparable quality. When buying protective equipment, I always pay attention to the CE marking. The entire Leatt product line is evaluated. I know I sound like a company rep, but I assure you I'm not. I'm the kind of person who refuses to put arbitrary company decals on my truck, motorcycle, etc. because I refuse to give them free publicity if the product isn't good. Especially crap from FOX!

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • No instructions

Need a simple redesign, Leatt engineers, this is for you.

While the protective section covering the lower spine is excellent for protection and breathability, the weak link is the elastic band at the front. I recommend double velcro from top to bottom and down the length. If the Velcro twists, loosens, a well-designed back is useless. I went back to my previous belt after a 25 day 7400 mile trip with the Leatt belt.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Compatibility

The best belt I could find.

but damn I'm on a tight budget and Litt was a bit stingy with coverage, I wanted to go back for a FOX black belt or an EVS hit but I don't think FOX has any protection against Has bumps and EVS sold out, I just think I'll pay an extra $20 to officially test this thing. I recently bought a 5.5 HD Pro bib and dual axis knee pads so I don't have a lot of money for them, but if someone knocks on my bike from behind while I'm sitting in the light I won't bother with the extra 20 Dollars don't careโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons

Lifeguard and comfortable.

Savior! My son recently crashed his YZ 250 (part of off-road trail and desert riding!) and his bike came back and hit him in the kidney. Thank goodness it wasn't a serious injury but it did cause a slight bruise to his kidney which was confirmed by a urine test and a 6 hour stay in the ER! He wore all the necessary protective gear (helmet, breastplate, vest) but after that accident he realized his kidneys are too important to leave open for another hit! This belt saves him another trip to theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Awakens trust
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Excellent back support and quality construction!

I don't write many reviews but after purchasing this Leatt kidney belt and using it a few times I had to say something. I am very happy with this belt. I've tried quite a few belts over the past forty years, from the tough leather belts to the original "Gold Belt" style, and I have to say that this Leatt belt offers the most comfortable support I've ever used. gave this belt 4 out of 5 stars for several reasons. It doesn't seem to breathe as well as some, but I have to attribute that to theโ€ฆ
