🔌 Lectron EV Charger Nozzle Holster Dock and J-Hook Combo for J1772 Connector Review

Once you get a feel for the actual use of this item it becomes so obvious that it would be much more convenient if the nozzle were almost parallel to the wall. In the current device, the nozzle protrudes where it can get in the way. So I just ignore the bait clip thing and just hang the line on the hook.

I just wanted to keep our Chevy Volt charger off the floor and this article helped me. It comes with a holster dock and J-hook (separately) and a set of screws with anchors for wall mounting. My only suggestion would be to maybe add another set of screws in case anyone wants to separate the holster and J-hook dock.

I bought a PHEV late last year and have placed my plug on the floor, boxes etc when not connected to my car in my garage. I suppose I'd like an official place to mount the fork so it doesn't get damaged. I bought this because it also had room for an extra cable. Installation was easy and it's pretty easy to use. Good build quality. Value OK.

Good solid product. My favorite feature is that the plug compartment is a separate part of the hook, which allows me to get creative with mounting it on the wall - I mounted it on a block parallel to the wall instead of sticking straight out (the spot in my garage is tight and easier to walk around without bumping into the fork.I'm glad I bought this!

The ECTRON EV J1772 charging station and J-hook combo is a great product with great installation flexibility. I installed two of them and in both cases I installed J-Hook and Dock separately. You will need 4 extra wall anchors (if needed) and screws, which is convenient for you to install if you want. I'm sure most people will install it together, but options are available.

We ordered this charger for our new electric vehicle and our electrician installed a new 50Amp circuit and plug to get a new charger. I also ordered a "hook" to store the cord. Everything works great and looks good. We charged fast for the first time and will enjoy the product in the future. The fact that it is portable makes it easy to take with you when you move house. I am very satisfied with the product and would definitely recommend it.

I was looking for a holster that would keep my EV charger from sitting on the floor or being looped around an outlet and it cost me less than most other options. It took me a few minutes to install the case and the kit included all the hardware needed to do it. The J1772 plug clip is made of durable metal and plugs in easily. The rest of the holster used for the cable is plastic but appears to be well made and I'm not worried about breaking it. Overall the price was really good for exactly what

I have level 1 (120v) and level 2 (240v) charge cables. The mounting holster fits my level 1 charging head but NOT my J1772 level 2 charging head (from the Morec 32 Amp EV Charger Level 2 Charger). The outside diameter of my level 2 charging head is a few millimeters larger (due to the use of thicker plastic) than the inside diameter of this product's mounting holster. My loading head J1772 Level 2 is now just hanging on the hook. I wonder if the manufacturer is aware of this incompatibility.

This bracket was pretty easy to install; All I needed was a spirit level, pencil, and cordless drill/screwdriver to mount it to my garage wall (I had to use a 1/2" bit for four anchors). The bracket itself is quite hefty and seems more than enough for the relatively short and light charge cable that the 110V EVSE comes with Honda's Clarity Plug-In Hybrid, I'm sure it can use the heavier Stage 2 cable as well . Certainly better than just need to find a shelf to pop the plug in between charges.
