I thought this design would replace the entire tail light on my '08 fxdc. It is not. This light fits into the bracket that the existing taillight is mounted to. Just remove the lamp itself from the bracket. Plug the 3 wires to this new device into the supplied connector in the correct order and from there everything is pretty much plug and play. Hope that helps. Like the look.

Works great and easy to fit with the hard covers in place, but my requirement is that the rear turn signals should be at least 9" apart. So it's great, but it can't replace return signals without additional lighting. Once installed I understand why this rule is necessary, because from a distance it's hard to see what you're looking at.

The first light was defective. I contacted the online LED shop and they responded quickly. After installation, the light did not work properly. I emailed again and they immediately sent a new light with their apologies without hesitation. In 48 years I have never experienced such an amazing customer service department. I will definitely continue shopping at this shop!

Looks great and very bright. But ! The first bulb I got lasted about a week, it popped out when I was doing 60, got stuck in my rear wheel and ruined the exterior. The screws came out even though I tightened them well. catched fire. So I took the guts from the 1st lantern and replaced them with a new one. so far so good for a month, now the parking light doesn't work. Soldering on these boards is terrible, but they're good when they work properly.

Very easy installation! Plug n play on my wife's 2005 Sportster! Very bright, my video is definitely not true. I love how the brake light flashes a few times before turning red! Great attention to people driving behind you! I just ordered one for my 2004 Softail and will do another check once installed. Bottom line, this was a very easy setup on a 2005 Sportster. Exceptionally bright and works exactly as described! Couldn't be happier!

Brighter than stock and looks more compact. It was important for us that the indicator worked when braking. It does. Flashes several times when braking, then lights up red. When the turn signal is turned on, it immediately turns bright red while the turn signal remains amber. Very easy to install. Purple is running light, red is brake, black is ground. Looks like a decent quality tail light. However, the running/signal lights and turn signals work as expected, but the brake light does not work.
