Updated review: After a few months all but two of the lights stopped working. We tried changing the batteries but this did not fix the problem. My guess is it’s a faulty wire since the lights are a strand of LED lights inside the dog. The whole reason we bought it was for the lights, so that’s a bummer. I bought this dog for my daughter who is of nightlight age. We only used this toy for sleep at night. Within a week half the light didn't work. I returned the dog and got a replacement. This dog looked the same but his button was on a different paw. It also broke with in the week. The lights stopped working. We for a third time returned the dog for a new one. My only complaint with this is the battery pack area in the back doesn't stay shut very well. I sort of have to re-stick it closed regularly (and it stays ok for the night). Foster daughter was turning three. Got her to tell me she wanted a blue puppy. She is scared of the dark so this seemed great. She goes everywhere with it and loves it so much. Id post a picture but bc she is a foster child i cant. Just know that it will cut off automatically after a while so no worries about it getting hot super soft. Best purchase i’ve made in a while for the kiddos. Highly recommend.

Love! I bought 1 for each of my twin boys for their cribs to have some extra light at night, they work great! Shut off after 30 minutes with no issues. Batteries that we put in (energizer) have lasted 2+ months now and going, well worth every penny. I'm thinking about buying a couple more just to have.

This little puppy is so soft and I love the colors of the lights. My 1 year old hugs him whenever he’s sleepy. It’s adorable . It was bigger than I expected it to be but that was okay with us.

My daughter loved the toy but it doesn’t light up anymore. We replaced the batteries but no luck. I expected it to last for more than a few months.

I bought this for my son in February when he would ask for an extra light in his room at night. Batteries lasted a couple months and then we took them out but didn’t replace. Went to replace this past week- and it no longer works. Very disappointed in the short-term use we got out of it.

Granddaughter loves it. The only problem is that the on/off button moves around some now that she's had it awhile but she's still happy with it.

We purchased it on March 17 ,2020 it took over a week to get it but not a big deal because it was in the midst of the Covid outbreak. Purchased for my grandson 16 mos. He loves it. It's super soft and he can easily engage the lights which are soft and nice sleeping and they shut off automatically. Definitely recommend.

This item was unexpectedly the biggest hit for christmas this year for my 7 yrd old little boy. My 3 yr old nephew kept trying to take it away from him! I shouldve gotten 2.

Gave this to my son for his birthday 3 weeks ago and last week it stopped working. Very disappointed because he wanted one because his sister had the unicorn one (which works fine) and he’s so sad it doesn’t work.

My kids has these light up stuffed puppies for almost 2 years and we loved them. My concern is that the battery pack inside one if the puppies got so hot one night it melted down the plastic case that held in the batties and seems like a pretty serious safety issue considering they slept with them every night. It might have been a fluke but never the less I wanted to make sure it was known that this happened.

Very soft and it lights up very brightly . I have not had any of the issues others have mentioned . No shedding and no issues with the battery overheating . It turns off on its own . My son loves it and it would be a great gift !

I was sent a cute blue dog today. I ordered a blue star. But that is all right because I wasn't totally committed to the star. If I was I would have been bad.
