Amazing time saving tool

I used this product to chop corn on the cob for freezer storage. We love creamed corn and I used this tool to process 8 dozen cobs of corn in about an hour. This process would have taken 3 hours or more without this amazing tool.

Works perfectly! in Kitchen Appliances & Gadgets

Arrived today, blade adjusted, then buttered 3 dozen corn on the cob. I can't be happier with my purchase. I had 2 of these but my son borrowed them years ago so I had to replace them. I'm glad they have good assembly instructions and offer replacement blades. The happy corn cream is here!

Pros
  • Good product for the price

WORKS GREAT in kitchenware and gadgets

I read the reviews about it and decided to buy it anyway. Most customers have stated that they have used it with fresh corn as we first boil the corn on the cob, chill it in ice and then cut the corn from the cob. It worked great! We cooked/chilled/sliced/bagged/frozen 6 1/2 dozen corn on the cob in 1 1/2 hours. He did exactly what I expected.

Zhanna from Reno for Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

I have used the Lee wooden corn cutter for many, many years. My father gave me my first corn cutter about 30 years ago. He bought it at a hardware store in Burnsville, North Carolina. After my father died in 1996, I couldn't find Lee's corn cutters in the West. I was glad to find it on Revain. Friends and family love my fresh corn and cream, which I make and serve with every meal, but always with a purely traditional southern fried chicken dinner. People get excited when I send them home with…

Arrived without chopping block supposedly included

Apparently I will not be making creamer corn using Nick Offerman's recipe from his woodworking book Good Clean Fun for which I bought 12 cobs of corn and this creamer corn especially for it. (Woodworking hasn't happened yet.) Thing arrived without a shredding plate which was supposed to be included but was sadly missing, and sadly that missing part appears to be vital to corn shredding. I've never delved into making cream corn before (and apparently I won't as long as those special corn cobs…

not good for mandolins and slicers

I was very happy to order this product, it had good reviews so I expected to be satisfied. It arrived in a very good time, earlier than expected and in good condition. However, when I first used it, I found that the cutting blade was so blunt that it took significant pressure to get it to cut, and then it pulled the corn off the cob. It was so difficult to use that it was dangerous. So I sharpened the blade with wet stone and steel. That went well for about 1 1/2 pistons and then got really…

  • There are other interesting options.
