Quality pants. But not quite what I expected. My 12 years. The eldest son is 5'2" tall, very slim and weighs 78 pounds. I ordered a size 14 thinking it had room to grow. Unfortunately the length of the pants was shorter than I expected. Nice pants, goes well with my son's school uniform

These pants fit my clumsy son well who is slightly taller than average for an 8 year old but very thin (52 inches). , 20" waist, 21" inseam, 50 lbs). The waist is adjustable with an elastic so I can slim it down to fit him, but the pants aren't so big that they look weird once the waist is tightened. This year my 9 year old grandson got a tummy. He has to wear "nice" chinos to school, but he can no longer wear normal sizes because his waist is too small.
