Fire belly landing received last week, poured water in on Sunday and bottom fell out. Upon closer inspection, the bottom was glued to the center panel that contained the pet.

Great little aquarium for the money. My eastern red spotted newt loves it. It is very easy to clean without disturbing the environment. I had my doubts after reading some of the reviews but this tank is well made and doesn't leak. For the price you can't beat it.

My daughter likes to take it to the stream. As mentioned, the main carry case isn't attached to the water bowl - it just means you have to support it by carrying it under the water bowl. This makes it very easy to change the water and clean the tank. Ideal for catching and transporting crabs and salamanders.

Bought to take our little turtle with us on trips. Not a good idea! The plastic case does not hold water but has holes in the bottom for water to flow into the green pan. Can only absorb a very small amount of water and will not leak everywhere. And every time you have to open the lid to feed the animal you have to remove the handle which is cheap plastic and broke after about 5 times. A month has passed, used a week and already ended up in the trash.
