Through trial and error, I found that this drum dolly is not worth the investment. The wheels don't roll smoothly and often get stuck, making it difficult to move heavy drums around the shop.

This thing is solidly built and seems to hold up to rough use BUT it doesn't have a clamping mechanism to hold the drum in place. So if you roll the drum on the floor and one of the wheels hits something (like a piece of squeegee line) the drum will fall off, rip the lid off and spill 16 gallons of very expensive oil all over your shop! I have a network of lube centers and this is the first barrel cart I've seen that doesn't have a mechanism to attach it to the bottom of the drum.
