Description of Legines Brass Fittings Nipple Length Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Plumbing

Long nipple for connecting two threaded pipes and extending pipe length. Male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting to female threaded pipes. Brass for higher corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Operating temperatures range from -53 to 121 degrees C (-65 to 250 degrees F). These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.

High-quality brass fittings for plumbing needs

This product has impressed me with its durable and high-quality brass fittings .Based on my experience, it has provided reliable performance for my industrial and scientific plumbing needs. I appreciate the various nipple lengths, which are efficient and allow for seamless connections. However I wish there were more size options available to meet specific requirements..

Pros
  • Durable quality, reliable performance, nipple length options
Cons
  • Limited size options

Brass nipples in fittings

Probably enough to 250 PSI, not much more. Pretty expensive considering the country of origin. Cu is sold for about $3 per pound in the market at the time of writing. So the old excuse that copper is expensive is a pretty holey bucket.

Pros
  • Fittings
Cons
  • Out of fashion
