LEGO Architecture Skyline Collection Building Building Toys in Building Sets Review

I ordered this set which clearly states that it is a New York Lego model. The picture shows the World Trade Center, Flat Iron, Empire State Building, etc. Instead, I received a model of Chicago in the mail. I am asking to replace the order as I think it was a mistake. I reordered and received a different Chicago model. Where's this in New York that I paid for?

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I bought this in New York after our honeymoon and my wife and I planned to display it in our living room as a memento to remind us of our great time in this magical city and it was the perfect piece for that. The assembly was easy and fun, the quality is known and respects Lego quality, very solid and very beautiful. I recommend it to any Lego fan, architect or New Yorker.

It's smaller than expected but it helps give the illusion of these iconic Lego buildings. Some people don't like using a Lego minifigure for the Statue of Liberty, but even though the set includes iconic New York buildings, it's still a Lego world, so I love it. As a New Yorker, born and raised, I absolutely love this set. With Covid I don't come back that often and looking at this set makes me feel lucky.

This has been the most difficult so far. You really have to focus on what you're doing because some buildings have so many intricate details and there was a part where you had to build a part, then build a mirror image and make sure they connected the right way, so was it symmetrical. The only problem I have is that the buildings inside are built so intricately that in the end they just want you to pound huge chunks to hide all the intricate work you just did.

We bought this for our 9 year old grandson for Christmas. He threw all the packages onto our dining table with almost 600 tiny parts and assembled these buildings using the included instructions in a bound booklet. I have no idea how he found every detail he needed but he didn't seem to have a problem. It took him a few hours. buildings on scale. I just wish the Statue of Liberty was a little more realistic, but that's a minor issue. Our grandson loved it and it was a great holiday activity.

Another great LEGO set. I just finished this one after completing a set in Chicago last week and have now ordered the US Capital building. Some gave it less than 5 stars and sent the kits back for reasons mostly related to "not what we expected". Fair enough but the Revain website has lots of data and photos e.g. B. Size and scale.
