🚀 Exploring the Cosmos: LEGO Creator Expert Apollo Building Set Review

Instructions were easy to follow. The assembly took a whole day. I looked around and found the basketball display case was the perfect size to complete. I bought an Apollo V Lego not knowing it was discontinued. Luckily you have.

I usually see Legos at Revain a lot more than I do in stores. This one was well priced and pretty hard to find a day early so I said I'd add it to my space collection. I'm 28 years old and collected them as a kid and now I've bought about 36 sets in the last month.

The best LEGO model of Lunar Modules on the market! Very detailed of each assembled piece! Words cannot express how COOL this build is! I hope the pictures help a lot lol. Definitely worth the price! There is also historical information about the Apollo 11 mission in the pre-assembly guide so it would be great if they included that in the guide. Still undoubtedly a must have!

I bought this as a memento of my time in Space City+ during the Corona lockdown and it definitely fits the times. I took my time putting it together (although it was difficult because Lego is addictive), splitting it up into 3 daily sessions. It is not very easy to assemble it since it is an expert box. The instructions are top notch so no problem for an adult. It looks great as a piece of art in my apartment, big enough to get noticed/become a topic of conversation. However, it is NOT durable.

I gave this LEGO product a low rating for a reason. I opened the original packaging which was brand new upon inspection. I opened the sheet and started taking all the pieces out of the box, they were all in the original packaging EXCEPT one bag. There were many stones in the box that were not in the original packaging. Apparently they were specially sealed in a self-sealing pouch. I haven't finished building the lego car I bought so I don't know if there are any parts missing to complete this…

I had to do something so I got a VW Beetle, built it and wanted to build another model. I received this and am amazed at how it is set up, just like I was with the VW Beetle. How do they figure out how to build them? When it's done it's amazing! I thought Legos were just for kids until I saw a news interview with a Saturn V in the background. I've been a LEGO fan almost my whole life. Despite being in my 30's I still get dizzy from buying a new Lego set but can't help but feel a little childish when I'm given an 8 to 12 year old set.
