    Facilitates the connection at home.

    I use this product to connect my motorhome at home (with a normal extension cord to a 15A socket). That works great. This item is well built, fits perfectly into the 30A twistlock inlet, locks securely with a locking ring and performs as it should in every way. I really like the green LED to indicate it's getting power. Buy this with confidence if you have a 30A twistlock input.

    My RV has a detachable power cord. When I bought it I asked for an adapter so I could use the standard 15A cable for charging etc. I was given an adapter to go from the 30Amp RV plug on the end of the RV cord to a 15A outlet means I have to use the bulky 25" RV cord all the time. This adapter is exactly what I wanted. This allows me to plug the adapter directly into a port on the van and use a standard 15A (12 gauge) extension cord to connect it.     This adapter is used to connect a Honda 2000i portable generator to a 30 amp shore supply on my boat. The onboard Kohler 7.3 kW is generally out of service. The adapter is a cheap solution so that we have AC power when there is an "emergency for boaters" when the dogs get warm and they need air conditioning. run a little or whether the first mate MUST have a cocktail or pina colada out of a blender.     This is to get a dog bone. Don't waste time with a block that doesn't have an extension.

    There are several versions of this device but this is the best. Having 110 pins on an extension is very, VERY important for these devices. Whether you're using it for an RV, a washer/dryer, or perhaps a home data center rack, the cables you'll be connecting to it are very heavy and tend to be very long, so a 30 amp outlet is a must naturally hanging face down on the wall by gravity.
