Description of Nikon 70-200 VR II Lens Cover by LensCoat - Realtree AP Snow Design

Protection from bumps, dings, nicks, and the elements like water, sand, dust etc. Camoflauge patterns help conceal by breaking up the shape of the lens. Neoprene acts as a thermal barrier protecting hands from hot and cold. Slides on like a sleeve. Made in the USA

Cool Cover

This cover perfectly protects the lens. gives me access to all controls. I really like how it feels in my hands. I feel like I'm better at it. I really like the Realtree Snow pattern.

Pros
  • Camera & Photo
Cons
  • Not Sure

Good quality

good quality lens cap. But it would be nice if you at least post the installation order. because I was trying to figure out where the first or the second is. Also, the hood lid is pretty tight, the last time I put it on it barely cracked my hood.

Pros
  • electronics
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks

not so happy with it

Covers the lens for protection but the neoprene sections rub against each other creating resistance making it difficult to adjust the zoom ring. I could try trimming part of the zoom ring, but then the lens seams would be more exposed. In the end I just took the whole piece off. The version I bought in black for my Sigma 70-200 didn't have this problem. And just a note, if you store your lenses in foam trays or in matching cases, you may need to remove part of the lens hood for storage.

Pros
  • Rain cover
Cons
  • Slightly torn
