For the money you pay this is great quality! It works as intended. I first tested the one that uses two Lightning ports, but was concerned about port damage when plugging and unplugging since I travel with it a lot and need to plug and unplug it frequently. I'm glad I decided to do this as it's okay to do this often. All ports worked as they should. No need to spend $70+ dollars on it I don't think so.

I ordered this to connect a monitor to my small screen Microsoft Surface Go. I also needed a way to connect USB drives to it. The HDMI plugs into the long end, which makes it awkwardly slumped on my desk. For my particular setup, it would be better if the HDMI port was connected at the end. Maybe someday I'll come back and find something that works better for me. I love the rose gold color and the product seems to work well but it's just not comfortable to use.

I have an HP Chrome laptop that is about 1.5 years old. But it is kept up to date. I bought this because I needed extra ports for external hard drives with a job and a wireless mouse. This doesn't allow me to access my external drive, I think it's because it's not an externally powered hub. I've never had this problem. Also, my camera card reader overheats when connected to it. I've never had this problem before. Overall aesthetics are okay, color is a bit off, build quality is very light and feels cheap. Another annoyance is that it just sticks out to the side and doesn't want to lay flat. This case is back. Not worth the money even if it's cheaper than other brands.

Revised review. The item looks good. Unfortunately, I can only use two of the three USB 3 ports at the same time. It is not enough for more "strength". When I try to charge my laptop via Power Passthrough, my laptop notifies me that I'm using a "slow charger". some sort of incompatibility with their hub that limits power output to a maximum of 60W. Obviously, this isn't enough to charge a laptop and run three USB devices at the same time. I am clearly disappointed that the hub is not working as
