Good for small tires.

everything seems fine. As other reviewers have pointed out, they are chrome plated and that chrome finish is prone to flaking during use. This doesn't affect its usefulness, it's just a blemish. They work well but I wouldn't use them on a tire that is too big. I've used them on a 15" truck trailer tire with no problem, but found that you can get heavier tires from Harbor Freight for $6 each.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons

They worked well to replace the front wheel on a John Deere tractor

They worked well. If any of the three had a different design, it would be easier to fold the last bead segment over the edge of the rim. These spoons are a bit thick and only have one type of end. The third spoon should have a different design and probably be a bit shorter to make it easier to get on the last 4 inches under the tire's bead to flip it. You will definitely need three spoons to change a splint.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Slightly dented

These flat blade screwdrivers and any other occasional tire changing hand tool are definitely better than replacing a 12" rear tire on a Honda XR50R. I pinched the tube and damaged the tire bead a few times until I rubbed some mineral oil on the bead and it worked great. Bigger tires like the 19" aren't too bad, but the oil still helps to lighten them up. I had baby powder (talcum powder) between the tube and the tire from the start, so I can't say much about the effect with and without it .

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Negative present

Works great on my motorcycle tire

I have a 2012 Harley-Davidson Road King that needs a new front tire. I bought these hoping they would do the job and they did! They're a decent length for good leverage and I like having knobs on the end for more comfort in your hands. Having 3 of these was ideal as I could move one around the tire while the other 2 kept the bead off the rim. Some other reviews have said that the metal bends or handles will break or come loose, but I haven't had any of those issues. In my opinion a good priceโ€ฆ

Best tire tool I've ever had

Read some reviews about these creases or chrome strips etc I found them excellent, the surface is slippery and helps get the bead onto the rim. A set of three is handy but when I use them I find two and sometimes one is enough. Worked well on motorcycle tires and lawn tractor tires. It's easier to avoid pinching than my trusty Beck-Arnley 18" tire changer that I've used for over 50 years. Thought the shorter length would be an issue but not really. I'm a 73 year old male and I shouldn't beโ€ฆ

Pretty good for the price.

Look, I'm not saying it made changing tires "easy", but it certainly made it easier. My brother and I were able to get my motorcycle tire halfway off the rim to change the tube in maybe 5 minutes. The 14.5 inch length certainly gave us more leverage than shorter turn signals, and once the rim broke it was easy. I recommend using a second pair of hands to help. These spoons appear solid and polish well. this is a good sign and the handles appear to be securely attached. They appear to be quiteโ€ฆ

Awesome tire scoops

I used these to change tires on my 350z. The tires were staggered to 275/30R19 and 245/35R19. The short sidewall made them an absolute do-it-yourself bear (I probably just had to pay a tire shop). I used these three spoons along with a pair of Ken Tool spoons (part number 32114) that had slightly curved corners. in this. These spoons were great for lowering the bead slowly and getting a good grip on the tire sidewall. They don't have an aggressive flex, so they slip easily between the tire andโ€ฆ
