Leviton 41641 W QuickPort Decora Insert Review

Wiring in our office and of course I immediately switch to Leviton's Decora Inserts for my CAT6 and HDMI connections. Surprisingly I can't find them in big stores (with an insert). Fortunately, as always, Revane has my back. A bit pricey here but it was just what I needed. I've used dozens of these and they're always perfect.

In my old house, there is solid, thick wood behind the drywall, so it's very difficult to attach a box to the wall. These inserts are perfect. I drilled a hole just big enough for a keystone bushing to fit through and then simply inserted a drywall screw into opposite corners of the insertion hole and then easily screwed in the separate pad. Light.

Old jack cover needs to be replaced for my cable connection. The Quickport insert worked great. Simply insert a coaxial cable from the back of the inert, screw the insert into the junction box (note: the insert does not come with screws) and use a screwless snap-on output plate to snap it on. Took me less than 5 minutes. I really like that the insert works with the Decora outlet cover. I recommend.
