I screwed in one of those motion sensor lightbulbs and plugged it into an outlet. It works! Now I don't have to worry about entering a dark garage. Pretty cool!

My mistake for expecting something decent for the price paid. Very poor quality - falls out of the ceiling and cannot withstand even the brightest light bulb. Spend a little more money and get something that actually works.

I bought 12 of these sockets for a Halloween display. They are perfect for my purpose! However, since there is no way to hang them safely, I recommend using only LED bulbs so that the bulb does not burn if it is touching something.

If you want to test lightbulbs this is a product I find useful. Adapters for different lamps can be ordered to test different lamps. The socket switch can be used to convert this product into a small temporary lamp (barbecue, etc.)

This little plug adapter is easy to have on hand. Not that I use it often, but when I need it it's nice to have on hand. I think for a person who is well organized and needs to find things where to find them, this is an important little thing, at least for me. Or, if you need it badly, it works well and is reasonably priced.

Built the way it should be, properly insulated and UL certified. The pins are locked, the contacts are riveted and the case is solid. I use some pretty heavy LED bulbs in it and have never had any problems. .

. Spiders love the dark and humidity, so I figured if I had 24/7 light, they'd be less likely to congregate in my garage. So now I have a lightbulb plugged into an extension cord on my wall. It works well and is definitely worth $2-3. The only problem is that I'm a bit scared that it will fall out and the light will break. If it only had one ground pin, even if it was a fake one to back it up, that would be amazing.

10/29/2021: My Kasa smart bulbs keep losing connection and need to be reconfigured. This little gem will at least save you some pain in the process. Instead of sitting still and trying to reconnect it to no avail, I use it in a power strip and it allows me to complete the setup process from my chair, which is closer to my Wi-Fi. real help! Levitron - Marked CHINA is useless if you plug it into a regular vertical outlet in the house. Correction, you can do it as long as you DO NOT SCREW IN A BULB. The pins are so thin that they are not held firmly enough in the socket to support their own weight and the weight of the lightest LED bulb.
