Used to replace the Legrande branded lid that is not color matched to the Leviton jar. This finally satisfied the inner perfectionist and reminded him of him. A bit pricey for a single color but that's the only way to get the right color and standard size.

They are decent but if I had known they were cheap I wouldn't have paid that much for them. In the photos they look like they have a metal grain running through them, but they're just painted a brilliant brown. I would rather buy the more expensive metal ones knowing they are so poorly made.

This is a plastic outlet cover. It's just like any other simple plastic lid. This one isn't too big and it's not thick plastic, so you have to be careful when screwing it in so you don't over-tighten and break the middle. That's true of any other standard coverage, though, and is to be expected for the price. I needed a dark brown to fade it in and it's spot on, not matte but not super glossy either.

Need brown cases for a brown painted island. This is a nice neutral brown, unlike some others which are auburn. They're not as durable as the Leviton cases of yesteryear. Be very careful when installing the screw. Don't overtighten the cap and don't bend it over the edge when screwing it in, or you'll most likely break the fragile center section of the panel. I'm glad I read the reviews before installing to make sure they didn't break.

Very small and thin. I bought two of these and the first one broke while screwing it in. Very thin plastic, not the quality I've bought at hardware stores in the past. Also, they're smaller than the standard size we had before, so I had to repaint where I screwed in the second one I bought at the same time neatly. Very poor quality but looks good if you don't break it. I didn't even know these sockets were made of such poor plastic. Very surprised.
