💾 Lexar Professional Multi-Card 3-in-1 USB 3.1 Reader: SD, microSD, CF Card Support (LRW500URBNA) Review

In short. I was surprised that this Lexar reader has a good weight compared to all the cheap readers available. Has a rubber pad on the bottom to keep the reader in place, etc. The read speed seems very fast, but I haven't run any OFFICIAL speed tests, it just reads my SD cards faster than any other USB 3 reader . owned before. Seems VERY well made, I was surprised at the quality and build of this reader.

We just added a Windows 10 computer to the office and as usual there was no card reader in the car. Added this Lexar reader with no problems other than plugging it into a USB 3 port. Worked instantly, fast and great on SDHC and Micro SD cards. I haven't tried CF yet. The LED indicator flashes blue when reading and red when not reading or ejecting. This is by far the best card reader I have ever used. It's easy to use, looks cool, no cons.

This product works so well it amazes me. I have an iPad Pro with a USB-C port and I was on a recent trip and wanted to check out the photos I've taken with Canon and Sony cameras. I removed the Sony SD card, put it in the iPad Pro and opened Photos. There were all photos. They got transferred to my iPad fast enough not to bother me with the awful software that Sony or Canon provide for it. Canon had the same results. I am very happy with it and am ordering more.

Every other card reader on Revain lists the read/write speeds as "Fast" or "Very Fast" but doesn't go into detail. Details on how fast. Spoiler: All of these readers have a maximum speed of 80-90MB/s. This list is for read/write speeds and I have no problem loading my 250MB/s SD cards into my computer at the card speeds listed to import. I frequently import 50-200GB video files to my Mac and this reader makes the process much faster and has the right USB-C port for my laptop.
