Great multifunction printer

I mainly use this printer with Mac OS X systems and iOS devices. At first I was concerned that I couldn't wake up the printer after it went to sleep. However, after checking the website and downloading newer drivers than those on the disc, this problem resolved itself. So make sure you do this if you're having trouble waking up from sleep. This is an excellent printer. One ink price should be enough for you. You stop buying a printer and buy the first set of replacement ink that costs the same…

Disappointed in printer and accessories

I don't often write product reviews, but I'm so disappointed with this device that I decided to warn others not to make the same mistake I did. What I don't like about this product: 1. Only one of the paper trays is adjustable.2. The product driver does not allow you to print a stamp or background image.3. The network on the device is very unreliable. I had to turn it off and on again for it to work. Installing the driver for Windows XP was also complicated. My Mac just booted up so it might be

Lexmark Pro905 in Printer

I don't even know where to start with this Lexmark Pro905. This printer is definitely worth every penny unless you buy it locally because when I was looking for a printer I went to Best Buy, STAPLES, OFFICE DEPOT and they wanted a ridiculous 450.00+ which is far from mine was. Budget I wanted an all-in-one printer and a wireless printer, and this printer delivered a lot more than what was on the table. It faxes flawlessly and the fax speed is excellent. Works great for spam faxes, detects junk,

Mixed feelings. (UPDATED)

I love this printer when it works. My first printer didn't set up because the ink cartridge was bad (resulting in the black ink not working, although magenta was the only one not set up properly). It then jammed every time I typed after two months of great work. They sent replacements and everything works great. Then he stopped printing wirelessly. Disappointing aside, print quality is excellent, and replacement cartridges are only $5. Wonderful. It's currently working great (and has worked for

I'm really fed up with spending over $40 on color cartridges for my HP printer. and in any case he began to issue blurry copies. This Lexmark is a great printer, easy to set up. I don't have the patience to go through technological hurdles. The most tedious and difficult part of the process was removing my HP scanner and printer software; It took a few tries and some help from my iolo software. I like the smaller size of the combined scanner and printer. I took the easy route and plugged the…

Poor print quality best for office electronics

I have used this printer primarily for scanning documents, which it does very well. I like the user interface and the ADF. It's very easy to set up and I love the WiFi feature. 4 months after purchase I tried to use the printer for what it was designed for i.e. printing and it failed miserably. I printed 4x6 images and they had blue and red lines on them. Searching the internet I have done a deep clean 3 times to no avail. Further investigation revealed that faulty printheads were a known issue

I won't make that mistake again.

Interestingly, a Wal-Mart invoice was included in the package for the seller; The seller paid about $50 less than Revain! The car that arrived was defective and had to be replaced due to a defective document feeder. Ironically, I bought a Pro905 to replace a bad Prevail Pro705 feeder. The Pro705, which also had to be replaced when I first bought it, had less than a 3 year warranty out of 5 and gave me nothing but trouble during that time. Bottom line: Lexmark just makes bad machines and doesn't

Lexmark what a disaster

I bought this printer in December 2010. It was easy to set up and looked great. I was pleased with the wireless capability and advertised low ink cost. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I thought I bought the best inkjet printer on the market. It cost $300. Here are the problems I encountered: 1. The print head had to be replaced after 2 months. I used the printer very easily.2. The WiFi dropped out so I could NEVER rely on a document to print when I was in another room at home. The touch…

Lexmark is very unethical about ink

Let me start by saying this printer is great in terms of speed and reliability using the ONLY products. Their black ink is only $5 which is a lot for black ink. On the other hand, their XL version color costs $60 if you buy the brand there. Because this printer is an ink return program printer, they don't want you to buy remanufactured ink. In fact, they keep saying it can ruin your printer, and that's why they don't condone it. I've bought remanufactured inks for printers from various…
