Cannot fully stick to the main unit.

First I have to say that the fit is perfect and there is no distortion whatsoever. I would give this product a 5 star rating but there is a defect at the bottom of the glass and it is quite unsightly. For some reason it just doesn't stick to the head unit.

Probably protects your screen from visibility like an expensive one

You don't want to get that for your digital dashboard. Incident light is reflected, making it difficult to see important information like your speed. It probably protects your screen, but I'd rather see important driving information.

The best way I've found to align is to position the bottom corners where you want them.

Installation went well, not just lined up. If it came with two suction cups, having one on each top corner would be very helpful. After I lined it up I was pleased that it stuck perfectly and didn't bubble, let it do its thing and it didn't bubble on me.

fits well, looks great, touch recognition sucks.

I bought a 6.5 for my 17 GTI SPORT. The suction cup that came with it was completely useless. Make sure you dry the tread first, there is a top and bottom but they are not marked. Looks very well installed, touch performance suffers a lot to the point where you can't use the screen most of the time. Cleared within a week, I will look for another product.
