Didn't even last 10 minutes when it broke in half. Also extremely expensive. The same item on the Hoover website is $8 off.

Pretty easy to install and a damn good price. Those are pluses. The biggest downside is that it broke 2 passes with my air purifier.

The first strap broke right after I turned on my carpet. I sent the belt back and got a replacement. So far the replacement has worked flawlessly.

The belt worked great. I didn't notice that the roller brush wasn't spinning, so I broke the new belt. Are the straps to blame, I wonder if it was another issue and bad reviews?

No problem with this belt. It went right away, was easy to install and I got back to my carpet cleaning. I'm a 72 year old grandma, so if it was easy for me, anyone can!

Received my belt, put it on and found the brush does not rotate. It had nothing to do with the belt but was the cause of the first break. We had to lubricate it with wd40 to unscrew it, now the belt and brush spin properly.

My whole dining room was in my living room when the strap on my carpet cleaner seemed to break. Nobody in my town had it, and neither did Hoover. It arrived a day early, so I was very thankful: the carpet cleaning mission is working again!
