do MASH! - Mashed potatoes

It's easier than mashed potatoes. came out so smooth. I took the advice of previous reviews and cleaned it right away to keep the potatoes from drying out in the masher.

Sturdy, suitable for potato shredders

Loved it - pulls potatoes very well - bruised The mesh basket is difficult to clean - it is what it is and for loose potatoes do what you have to do.

I use it to squeeze zucchini

I've used it to squeeze zucchini juice out of zucchini when making zucchini patties. That works great! I'm so glad I don't have to use the towel anymore.

Much stronger than my other crusher

I like the strength of this product. It takes time to mash a lot of potatoes, but I really like the "airer" texture with the rice machine. I recommend this product.

Impressed with Potato Cutter

I saw in a cookbook that a potato cutter was recommended for mashing. Pleasantly surprised at how well it worked; Just put in some steamed potatoes and push the lever down and the potatoes come out in a quick mashed form. The riser is a bit difficult to clean due to the size and small holes. Overall very satisfied.

Better than we expected

My grown daughter talked me into buying a pounder for Thanksgiving this year. I was skeptical - I've always been happy with the hand press and never aspired to adding anything else to my life - but it won me over. That's incredible! Durable, big enough to fry a whole small or medium potato in one go, and easy to use. A quick swipe with a soapy dish brush before the starch dries on it and you're done.
