Just received this tent in the mail. I set it up immediately as I'm planning a backpacking trip next weekend, and was in the market for something lighter than my current tent and this seemed to fit the bill based on other reviews. Used this tent for the first on a camping trip last week. The temperature was very warm, so I can not comment on its ability to protect from cold and wind. But I can say in warmer weather, I missed having a second window to allow for cross ventilation. Very Easy to set up. Nice design in that respect. Weight of 3.5lbs is a lie. Tent fabric is 3lbs. Polls are 1lb. Stakes, bag and top are .7lbs. Total is 4.7lbs. Look at the difference between shipping weight and product weight; its far too large of a difference showing something is off. What is off is the product weight should say 4.7lbs.

In the morning, the dew makes the inside walls wet. This then gets everything inside wet. It rained the second night and the entire inside was flooded. The zipper leaked and the water just seemed to seep in. Sending it back.

I must be honest, I don't love this tent. A few months after purchase I went to use it and one of the zippers did not work. The tent is a cheap tent that will not work as well as a $200 marmot or REI tent, BUT for the price paid it is a decent deal. Also the Seller was awesome and worked well with me when I asked about getting the zipper fixed.

Not durable at all. Straps broke loose where pole attaches first night of use. 20 mph winds next day completely destroyed it.

I used this tent the entire summer of 2017 in Jackson, Wyoming for camping. I will be using it again this summer. It’s great!

Really nice two persons backpacking tent, very compact and lightweight. The simple and quick setup impressed me so much. I can do it myself in 3 minutes. Amazing!

Easy setup, plenty of room.Loss of 1 star is due to a seam that separated after 2 uses, but the seller issued a full refund immediately, so they are fabulous about standing by their product!

Purchased this for some up coming backpacking trips. Like that it is lightweight and waterproof. Very easy to put up with one person. It was way roomier than I expected. I had room for me, three dogs, a very brave cat and still had room for gear. Set it up in the living room to test, haven't had it out on the trail yet. Seems of good quality, zippers worked well. Lightweight and easy setup. Wish there was at least one screened window. Also, the 6ft floor measurement makes this tent a little small for my 5'9" size, with the sloping walls. But overall, it's as expected and AOK.

I bought two of these tents and took them backpacking in the Escalante river gulch. I seriously can't recommend them enough. SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT We were with a large group of experienced backpackers and they all couldn't believe what I had paid for my tent. I bought this for a summer backpacking trip. I'm very happy with the purchase. It's very lightweight (less than 4lbs) and easy to put up. It easily sleeps 2 people. I'm 5'9 and my partner is 6'0 for reference. No extra features but perfect if you're looking for a lightweight 2person backpacking tent.

My son is a Boy Scout and ordered this tent. He said he was lightweight and really easy to set up. We had trouble getting it back into the bag, and that's been the only issue so far. He gives it a 4-star for being a nice tent and a reasonable price, and appreciated the low pack weight.

This product was misrepresented. It does not weigh 3.5lbs. It weighs 4.7 and when you are calculating weight while your planning a trip this s not good. GREAT TENT for the price. Bought 2 of them, went on a 4 day 3 night backpack trip. My daughter and granddaughter slept in one, my son and I in the other. Crazy, almost scary winds first night, and temp in the low 30's, and totally held up.
