Video monitor accessories

I am very happy with the Lilliput 7 inch monitor. Everything was ready and set up quickly. I installed mine on my Nikon D500. An accessory kit, though not listed anywhere in the instructions, included a small envelope with an Allen wrench and a threaded bolt. Can someone explain to me what they are for? Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Some cons

Affordable, quality monitor

I've been looking for something less expensive to complement my Atomos Ninja V and this monitor is exactly what I was looking for. The build quality leaves something to be desired, but for this price it should be one of the best. I would buy it again. The *only* complaint I have is that the battery plates are a bit tight on both Sony and Canon batteries, but I imagine this will loosen up over time.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • So far so good

DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT TO AVOID A HEADACHE

Bought based on reviews. Which picture. It worked fine for ten minutes. The screen went on and off. I figured it might be the power cord so I used one of the battery adapters. This time it worked for 5 minutes. Then he did the same. Apparently he also stops recording on the camera because there are no more frames left. I kept trying different plugs and cables and giving up. THIS sucks, DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Sad device

Great indoor and outdoor monitor with Lumix G85

First of all, I'm an amateur photographer. I buy a Lilliput monitor for the screen size, screen brightness, and focus assists to help me with composition and focus. I only use it for taking photos. I have poor eyesight and the 7 inch monitor is great for macro photography. I think he's well built. I like the protective rubber pad that protects the outer edges and hood. I also like the clear labeling of all ports and controls. The menu isn't too complicated and I found it easy to work with…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
